Sonder describes the feeling of realization that every other person has a life as deep and vivid as your own. It’s a word of empathy, and I think it’s beautiful. As much as everyone is so focused on themselves these days, it’s nice to take a step back and really feel how small you are in the grand scheme of things. And I don’t mean small from like a nihilistic POV, I just mean to get across that whatever you’re currently worried about, in the grand scheme of things, just isn’t that big of a deal. Enjoy life, be kind to others, we’re all new here.
